I have left the hall now. I have mostly been trying to keep to my room or see if there were other 'teammates' around, but I do not have anyone here now.

Would you come here? I would feel safer. [And she's been alone for almost two weeks now.]

[ translation: a few minutes, he’s knocking ]

[She hasn't a clue what that means for length of time, but she'll wait in her room, pacing a little. When she does hear the knock at the door, she's cautious as she cracks the door. After a moment there's a look of relief before she's opening the door and suddenly just hugging him.

Mostly to know that someone she has come to care about is also okay, but because it has been frightening the last week and a half or so.]

[ He doesn't expect to have an armful of pretty lady in his arms, but he gingerly wraps them around her, holding her close, one carefully petting the back of her head. ]

That bad, huh?

[She'll just stay buried against his chest. It may be inappropriate, but then they are technically married by any sort of rules that would matter, so she cares little.]

I was worried. [And lonely.]

I'm all good.

[ This is one of his wifey's it's acceptable. ]

C'mon, let's sit down. You can, uh - tell me everything. Or we can just hang out.

[He might have to actually move with her to get her to. She doesn't really want to separate, yet.]

I think I have told you most of it. I just do not wish to spend the night alone. Not when I fear the wolves may be attacking again.

[And she has no real protection.]

[ He’ll do a shuffle walk with her, ease her inside and nudge the door closed with his foot, arms staying where they are, wrapped around her body. ]

Hey, it’s okay, I got you. You’re safe and I’m not going anywhere.

[The way he holds her is comforting, and she can't help but lean into it, her head on his shoulder as he manages to get them both back into her room, secured now. Nothing has really felt safe, and from she knows it seems some are even being lured out somehow, but she doesn't want to think about that. Not when he's telling her she's safe.]

I have never known such violence. It was bad enough when this place set ablaze itself with holy fire to rid the wolf man before, but this is different, I fear. He was not one of us.

[ Holy fire… interesting. Only way Dean knows how to deal with wolves is silver, but this place is full of mindfuckery beyond the things he’s used to - and that’s saying something.

He strokes the back of her head with a touch that’s far gentler than his big hands and demeanor belay, a soft grunt in his chest. ]

That violence is gonna stay the door, sweetheart. It’ll have to come through me if it wants you, and I promise I’m hard to kill.

[She steps back further, pulling him back toward the bed as if she can put even more space between herself and whatever else is out there. She wants to leave it there, to not even think about it. Her room and her bed has been her only sanctuary now, and maybe she can pull him in there with her to keep her that much more safe now.]

Hopefully this place will not lure us any more. I have listened in the halls when they accuse each other. I am unsure if the wolves even wish to do this. And the victims? It sounds like they get taken at random, no will involved.

It truly is just a game to them.

[ He follows along, keeping close, easing them to sit down, pulling her right into his lap. ]

Sure sounds like it. [ He's dealt with a lot of shit in his life, but this is a new one. ]

But I'm not gonna let anything happen to you. [ Famous last words. ]

[She lets him pull her onto him, curling there in his lap as she rests her head on his shoulder. She doesn’t know how true his words may be, but the fact that someone cares about her, is there with her now, she feels better. Francesca sighs lightly against him and gives a small nod.]

I have never experienced anything like this place before. I do not know why they have brought me here when everyone else seems to know of magic and wolves and vampires. I feel ill equipped if all I am good for is for parties. Or some sort of entertainment value.

I don't think that's all your good for, and it isn't a bad thing you're not used to all this crap. Means you haven't been exposed to all the bullshit that comes with it, and trust me, it's a lot.

[ He keeps an arm around her waist, the other sliding up to push up into her hair, cup the back of her head. ]

[He holds her tightly, hand pushing into her curls as she looks up at him. It's hard to not take it personal when she's spent the last two weeks fairly locked up. It hasn't been a good time for her, but she is thankful he's here.]

But that means I know even less now. How can I protect myself?

I can teach you some basic stuff. Self defense, that kind of thing.

[ She's not gonna be a hunter anytime soon, but a few tips aren't gonna hurt either. ]

How to throw a punch without breaking any fingers, for starters.

I suppose it is a start. [And better than the lack of knowledge she currently has. Maybe he could even tell her more about protections from the creatures he is more familiar with, the ones that are more likely to harm her.

She squeezes his side, anxious but feeling a little more hopeful. Like perhaps she can get through this.]
